The artist

Severin Schmid studied violin and piano in Luxembourg, Regensburg, Munich, Paris, and Essen, with teachers such as Julia Fischer and Boris Garlitsky. Currently, he is a permanent member of the Münchner Symphoniker. He plays a violin by Giovanni Grancino from 1692, provided to him by the Villa Musica foundation.

Zeno Schmid studied piano in Munich and graduated as a medical doctor at the University of Cologne. In addition, he took private piano lessons at the Cologne University of Music.

 

As chamber music duo, they perform across the world and have won several prizes at national and international competitions.
